Recipe: Bak Kuet Teh 

1. Boil 3 cups (720 ml.) water. Place the soup mix bag in the water. 

2. Wash 1/2 kg. cut-up spareribs and place in the boiling water for 5 minutes. 

3. Lower the heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes or until the meat is tender. Discard the bag. 

Tips: Lamb, beef or ox tail can also be used. Add 1/2 cup water and increase the simmer time to 2 hours.
